I'm one of nature's average guys, Upon my face I have two eyes. Above my chin my one mouth grows, Right there beneath my only nose. My head has hair I comb with pride And I wear an ear on either side. Two arms, I swing them when I walk, And a jaw, I use it when I talk. Right and left, I have a shoulder, Each one I use for an arm holder. My head's connected with the rest By a neck that leads down to my chest. Then my stomach, which I wash with care, Cause my bellybutton's resting there Further down there's a little dip Each side is guarded by a hip. I have two legs and that's enough So I can run and jump and stuff. They both go right down to the ground To meet my feet to walk around. Two elbows let my arms both bend To lift the hand that's on each end. There are two knees beneath my thighs That help me when I have to rise. And so it's clear, for all to see, That most guys look the same as me. So like them all, I do suppose, I have ten fingers and fourteen toes! --Grandpa Tucker |
