Cycle Sammy

Sammy Snake would twist and sigh
Each time a Harley bike buzzed by.
And Sammy thought it would be neat
If he could be upon that seat.

Every night this snake would dream
Of riding on a fine machine.
He dreamed of girl snakes and their squeals,
"Oh, look at Sammy's cool new wheels."

So Sammy thought, "At least I'll try it,
I'll earn some cash and then I'll buy it.
And so he placed a special ad;
"A little snake needs work real bad."

You'd be surprised at what it takes
To find odd jobs for little snakes.
He made two bucks, but couldn't cope,
While rented as a jumping rope.

The most fun job he found to do
Was give a hiss and holler, "BOO!"
He's the one you might have seen
In the Haunted House on Halloween.
