At night in bed, it has been said,
That you can choose what's in your head.
So as you're drifting off to sleep
Don't think of monsters, count some sheep.

Yes, you can choose, but I'd advise,
Don't dwell on ghouls that terrorize
Or vampires sporting bloody fangs,
Forget huge snakes that crawl in gangs.

Pretend you don't hear chilling screams
That sort of thing fouls up your dreams.
Those bats above you fly to tease.
Now close your eyes and get some ZZZZzzzzzzz
