If I were king, I would be wise And wear a crown above my eyes. I’d dress myself in fine king stuff And wear a hankie in my cuff. I’d have the first king’s wireless phone And play Nintendo from my throne. Then I would make a royal wish For blackbirds in a dainty dish. I’d let the people eat some cake, Cause they deserve some, goodness sake. I would be nice and make a vow To smile at each one as they bow. I’d be so happy just to see That Dad was really proud of me.
