THE HANDKERCHIEF

A hankie is a neat nose tool,
With lace or plain edge it is cool.
To be without one is a curse,
So keep one in your pants or purse.

Your nose is running? Whip it out
And slowly wipe that dripping snout!
That handkerchief will mop a mess
From body, face, pants or dress.

Each time you find you have to cry
You'll find that it will pat you dry.
It comes in handy when you sneeze.
So cover your nose, will you please?

It's the thing to use in emergency,
To hide your boogers, don't you see?
What messes up your nicest grin?
An ugly booger on your chin!

Use a hankie and live with pride
When you're at home or go outside.
Mom will be happy cause mothers care
For hankies and clean underwear.
