Heidi, the Schnauzer, wagged her tail As she met the man who brings the mail. She expected a letter, at least a card, From her boyfriend, Bernie St. Bernard. He wrote "Bow wow" with amazing flair And always enclosed a lock of hair. Receiving the mail was exciting, indeed, Since Heidi, herself, had learned to read.
