Arnie and Annie
(A Love Story)

I'm all dressed up in my fancy pants
With a heart shaped box filled up with ants.
I'm off to see a gal who lives over town
But I'll have to wait till the sun goes down.

Yes, I never go out in the day, you see,
For the dark of night is better for me.
When the moon is up and shining bright
I'll be heading out for Valentine's Night.

My name is Arnie and love is my game
And I'm heading for Annie, that is her name.
I'll hold her paw in the bright moon shine
And ask her to me my Valentine.

If she says, "Yes," I'll be the big winner
And I'll take her out for a termite dinner.
Then we'll take a walk so night folks can see
How very happy two aardvarks can be!
